Kerry Shoesmith joins us for our workshop NVR in Practice: Residential Settings

Kerry Shoesmith is an experienced leader in therapeutic care, specialising in NVR, trauma, and residential settings, with over 20 years in youth and community work. She has held senior leadership roles, including Director of services overseeing multiple homes and a therapeutic school, and has a strong track record of achieving outstanding care standards.

With an MSc in CBT and Mental Health, Kerry integrates therapeutic approaches including NVR and CBT to support recovery from trauma. She provides clinical and NVR supervision, individual therapy for looked-after children, and systemic support for families. She is also the UK’s only ReAttach trainer, continuing to innovate in therapeutic practice.

This workshop forms part of our Accredited Level 2 NVR Training, offering a new way to work towards the full qualification at a pace that suits your time and budget.

In addition to our guest speakers, all workshops will be facilitated by two accredited NVR Practitioners, Trainers, and Supervisors, creating space for active discussion and participant engagement.
