Level 2 - Applied NVR Practice
Our Advanced Level Training for Professionals is accredited by NVR UK and delivered online, Training is delivered over 10 weeks and consists of weekly in-person sessions on a Tuesday evening from 6:30pm - 9:00pm BST. In addition, all participants will undertake 2 hours of directed self-study per week between sessions to reinforce and extend their learning.
Building on the basic NVR principles and strategies learnt during initial Foundation (Level 1) Training, in Level 2, we go further, looking at how these strategies can be employed in a wide variety of clinical and community settings.

Course Content includes...

Advanced clinical application of NVR in a range of more complex situations and settings.

Adapting NVR for a range of specific clinical needs/presenting difficulties e.g., Anxiety, Neurodiversity, Early Childhood Trauma, Eating Disorders, Failure to Launch, NVR in schools, Community, Youth Offending, Foster Carers, Adoptive Parents, and Residential settings.

Bespoke/creative NVR packages.
-
NVR with groups and with individuals - differences and overcoming potential difficulties.

Integrating NVR with other approaches.
-
An introduction to our very own adaptation of NVR for situations of perceived Parental Alienation and situations of high conflict around child contact arrangements.

Building network presence and uniting professional/family and friends’ supporters.
-
Challenges with multi-agency working/negotiating roles within different domains.
-
Safeguarding/working with risk.
-
Ethics and values of NVR.
-
Self-reflexivity and anti-discriminatory practice.
On successful completion of the Training element, of this qualification, participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
Coursework
To achieve the full NVR Advanced (Level 2) Certificate, participants must complete written coursework that demonstrates their personal and professional development through NVR training and its practical application. Coursework must be submitted within one year of the final day of training and should include one of the following options:
Option A:

Two NVR case studies (2,000 words each)

Practice and relevant NVR CPD Log (minimum 50 hours)

Narrative section (2,500 - 4,000 words)
Option B:

Two NVR case studies (2,000 words each)

Reflective narrative log (2,500 - 4,000 words)
Certification
Upon successful completion of both the training and coursework requirements, participants will be awarded the full Level 2 Certificate. This qualification enables participants to:-

Work one-to-one with families across a range of presentations

Co-facilitate NVR groups as a certified group practitioner* under supervision

Progress to NVR Level 3 training
