Giovanni Aventaggiato

Born in Zurich in 1964 to Italian parents who had emigrated to Switzerland. After living and working in Italy for nearly thirty years, Giovanni returned to Switzerland in 2016, in order to pursue further personal and professional development.

With a degree in Pedagogical Sciences, he first worked as an educator and later as a manager in social and educational organisations. Throughout his career, he has remained committed to fostering the well-being, growth, and social development of individuals, groups, public and private institutions.

For most of his professional journey, Giovanni has been broadening his knowledge of nonviolent educational practices. Helping individuals recognise that they can offer caring yet firm guidance within family, social, and professional settings has always been his personal and professional commitment.

His aim is to contribute to the development of a grassroots culture of peace and justice built on everyday relationships and individual responsibility. "In these complex contemporary times, attempting to transform the way we relate to others seems to be a moral duty".
